Island Tak Dates for 2012

We now have our dates for fishing aboard Steve Kelly's Island Tak.

All trips will be leaving At 4:30 a.m. and are priced at $125 per person. The trips are on a first pay first serve basis. They are limited to 10 people but we reserve the right to over book each trip by 1 person. Call 805-648-5665 for reservations.

s e cressey lure update

found some new info on the Cressey baits. Like I thought, they were made in San Pedro California. The manufacturer was cressey machine works in pedro harbor berth 73. They look to be pre 1930 baits made for the jig boats on terminal island.

echo fly rod day

Lee Baermann will be doing a ECHO rod demo at Eric's Tackle Shop in Ventura, the new ION 6wt, Saltwater 3 in 6 and 8wt plus the new EDGE 84 in 8wt. The EDGE 84 will have a new Airflo Bass/Musky line on it and the others will have sinking lines. We well meet at Eric's Tackle at 9:30am on Saturday October 8 and leave for Cemetary Park at 10:00. He will also have a Carbon 6wt, ION 8 and 10 and a Saltwater 3 12wt. If you wish to try one of those rods, let me know so he can bring it a long.

2012 trip to cedros island

we just booked a trip to cedros island w/ www.cedrosadventures.com. The trip is friday oct 5th thru friday oct 12th and is $2200 dollars. We are taking 9 anglers and have 6 spots available. We will be targeting Bass, Yellows and Grouper.
